SugarBee Air-Fried Stuffed Apples

Ingredients:

  • 4 SugarBee® apples
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Agave syrup (to drizzle)
  • Melted vegan butter or a little oil spray
  • Vegan vanilla ice cream (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Apples: 
    • Wash and core the apples, keeping the bottoms intact to hold the filling. Scoop out a bit of extra flesh if needed.
  2. Brush with Oil: 
    • Lightly brush the outside of each apple with melted vegan butter or a little oil. This helps them caramelize beautifully in the air fryer.
  3. Add the Topping: 
    • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
    • Loosely sprinkle the mixture into the apple cavities and over the tops.
  4. Drizzle with Agave: 
    • Drizzle a little agave syrup over the tops of the apples for added sweetness.
  5. Air Fry: 
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
    • Place the apples in the basket with some space between them.
    • Air fry for 8 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the tops are golden and slightly caramelized.
  6. Serve: 
    • Let the apples cool for a couple of minutes.
    • Top each with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream and enjoy!

This method ensures the apples are perfectly tender with a golden, shiny finish!
