Cinnamon SugarBee® Apple Pancakes Recipe

Why bother with basic pancakes when you can start you day with a stack of delicious Cinnamon SugarBee® apple Pancakes?! Ready in a matter of minutes, these amazing pancakes are perfect for a weekend brunch or a regular weekday breakfast when you want a hearty meal packed with big flavor.
Serves 6.
Ingredients:
Cinnamon Apple Topping:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 cups SugarBee® Apples, diced
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Pancakes:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg
- Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions:
Cinnamon Apple Topping:
- Melt butter in a small saucepan and add the diced SugarBee® apples. Cook for 2 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Add the brown sugar and cinnamon and cook another 3 minutes, until the apples are tender. Remove from heat.
Pancakes:
- Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar and salt) to a large mixing bowl.
- Create a well in the middle and add milk, butter and egg and mix until smooth.
- Heat a lightly oiled large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot pan.
- Cook the pancake until bubbles form, approximately 2 – 3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Top the pancakes with the prepared cinnamon apple topping and drizzle with maple syrup.
