SugarBee Air-Fried Stuffed Apples
Ingredients:
- 4 SugarBee® apples
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Agave syrup (to drizzle)
- Melted vegan butter or a little oil spray
- Vegan vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions:
- Prep the Apples:
- Wash and core the apples, keeping the bottoms intact to hold the filling. Scoop out a bit of extra flesh if needed.
- Brush with Oil:
- Lightly brush the outside of each apple with melted vegan butter or a little oil. This helps them caramelize beautifully in the air fryer.
- Add the Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Loosely sprinkle the mixture into the apple cavities and over the tops.
- Drizzle with Agave:
- Drizzle a little agave syrup over the tops of the apples for added sweetness.
- Air Fry:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
- Place the apples in the basket with some space between them.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the tops are golden and slightly caramelized.
- Serve:
- Let the apples cool for a couple of minutes.
- Top each with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
This method ensures the apples are perfectly tender with a golden, shiny finish!
