3-Ingredient SugarBee® apple Chocolate Cake
Who would have thought you could make a chocolate cake with only 3 ingredients?! There is one ingredient that takes the spotlight in this recipe, and spoiler alert, it’s SugarBee® apples. The amazing flavor notes of honey, caramel and molasses really pop in this recipe. This tasty treat contains no added sugar, and it is gluten free, egg-free and dairy free!
Tools:
- Bowl
- Measuring cups
- Round or square dish
- Blender or food processor
Ingredients:
- 3 SugarBee® apples
- 1 cup organic red cocoa powder
- ½ cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions:
- Start by slicing your apples into thin slices. You can either a) Throw in the food processor or b) boil down to apple sauce with 1/2 a cup of water.
- Throw all the remaining ingredients into the food processor or blender and blend.
- Pour into a square or round dish and bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let it cool. You can add icing on top if you want to; I mixed vegan cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract for the icing!
