Strawberry Apple Crisp
Summer calls for quick and easy desserts that pack a punch. When fresh strawberries are in season, they’re the perfect pairing with SugarBee Apples for an apple crisp with a twist. Ingredients
For the base:
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, de-stemmed and diced
- 2 SugarBee Apples, cored and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon water
For the topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup rolled oats
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, add the diced strawberries, diced apples, brown sugar, flour, and water. Stir to combine and transfer to the prepared baking dish.

- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the melted butter and combine with a fork until clumps form. Evenly distribute the topping over the fruit.
- Bake the strawberry apple crisp for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
