Ingredients

Scale

Cinnamon Apple Topping:

3 tbsp butter

2 cups SugarBee® Apples, diced

3 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Pancakes:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

3 1/2 tsp baking powder

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp sugar

Pinch of salt

1 1/4 cups milk

3 tbsp melted butter

1 egg

Maple syrup, for serving

Instructions

Melt butter in a small saucepan and add the diced SugarBee® apples. Cook for 2 minutes, until slightly softened.

Add the brown sugar and cinnamon and cook another 3 minutes, until the apples are tender. Remove from heat.

Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar and salt) to a large mixing bowl.

Create a well in the middle and add milk, butter and egg and mix until smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the hot pan.

Cook the pancake until bubbles form, approximately 2 – 3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.

Top the pancakes with the prepared cinnamon apple topping and drizzle with maple syrup.
